Nurse education as a part of comprehensive nursing work at bone marrow transplant unit in the Motol University Hospital

The bachelor thesis will deal with the educational process in the children's bone marrow transplant unit at the Motol University Hospital. The educational process takes place in 4 stages, where both the doctor, psychosocial worker, nurse, as well as the patient and his family participate in the educational process itself. The work will focus on specifying nursing care in this department and education within this educational process, where the nurse herself already participates in educating the patient and his family when the patient is admitted to the transplant unit. The bachelor thesis will be divided into a theoretical part and an empirical part. The theoretical part will describe basic concepts in education and educational process in general. Furthermore, there will be a chapter on topics of education specific to bone marrow transplant units. The conclusion of the theoretical part will be devoted to the topic of bone marrow transplantation. The empirical part will present the results of an anonymous questionnaire survey conducted at the Department of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at Motol University Hospital. Patients education before cardiac catheterization results and its evaluation

Baccalaureate work deal with problems education in patients indicated to invasive achievement cardiac catheterization. It consists of theoretic and experiential parts. In theoretic parts are translateds basic piece of knowledge incidental educational activity in medical environment. Psychohygiene in School and Application of Relaxation Techniques into the Teaching Process at Elementary School

This bachelor work is dealing with the question of psychohygiene in school and application of relaxation techniques into the teaching process at elementary schools. Mental hygiene here is primarily focused on the pupils. This work defines several basic terms regarding to the topic, for example: psychohygiene, mental health, relaxation techniques etc. Primary intention of this work is refer to the necessity to pursue greater attention to the psychohygiene of the pupils since elementary school, due to keeping their mental health in balance, learning how to relax, preventing mental problems, fatigue or exhaustion. Possible symptoms of mental unease of pupils and reasons why it is necessary to care about their mental health are stated in this work. Finally this work offers some relaxation techniques and practices. Part of this work is also suggestion of several relaxation techniques, which would be usable and suitable at school for integration into the educational process. Intensification of teaching in lessons of czech at primary school

The diploma thesis deals with the playful forms of work as one of instruments of intensification in the lessons of Czech language at elementary school. In its theoretical part it focuses on the problems of young school child's development. The key concepts of game and its importance in the process of education are defined here. In the practical part the reservoir of playful forms of work is introduced. The games tested with the fourth-year pupils are embodied in this part.

The first part summarizes the theoretical knowledge necessary for understanding the next part of the thesis. The second part is devoted to the actual research and its results. The aim of the thesis is to introduce the reader to the current form of the teacher-parent relationship from the point of view of selected teachers through their individual experience. This is achieved through mixed methods research - surveys and semi-structured interviews with selected respondents. The results of this thesis allow the reader to be knowledgeable in the current form of functioning of the teacher-parent re- lationship at the secondary level of elementary schools in the Czech Republic. Specifics of education process in a patient with cataract

This bachelor thesis on a topic "Specifics of the education process in a patient with cataract" is focused on the educational activities of a nurse in patients after a cataract surgery. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part concerns cataract, history and types. It describes the educational process of nurses and nursing care for patients after cataract surgery. The practical part describes results of the exploratory questionnaire survey, which was held in five Prague hospitals. The exploratory involved two groups of respondents, ophthalmic nurses working in clinics/departments and patients who have undergone cataract surgery. Results of the questionnaire survey are summarised at the end of the thesis, in chapter discussion. They show that observed populations are similar, for example in the selected form of education. Furthermore, the different opinions were confirmed, such as the question of family member's presence during the education.

Its target was a complex conception of e-learning education in its wider view with focus on lifelong education, gradually zooming in on the particularities of co-directing of learning satisfying adult learners' education needs with elaborate online learning supports and a tutor's support. Dibetes mellitus patient education

This Bachelor's thesis covers the topic of Diabetes Mellitus patient education. It consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is further divided into two sections. The first theoretical section describes the condition of Diabetes Mellitus, including possible complications and treatment. The second theoretical part contains a list of basic concepts of patient education and the terms related to the patient education process. The quintessential part of the thesis is the practical part. It applies the method of quantitative research interview. The interview was carried out in the internal medicine inpatient wards of the Thomayer Hospital, University Hospital in Motol and in the Nymburk Hospital. The aim of the thesis is to determine the quality of patient education process and the level of satisfaction of patients and nurses with the process of Diabetes Mellitus patient education. Another aim of the thesis is to determine the level of knowledge and understanding of the topic in patients and the satisfaction of nurses from the Diabetes Mellitus patient education. The thesis further introduces the results of the research including the confirmation or rejection of hypotheses, resulting in a proposal on how to improve the Diabetes Mellitus patient education process.
